Have you ever been in a state of pain so intense, it was like a living creature wound tightly around your ribcage and shoulders and neck? Getting into that place requires not just one thing that's wrong, but instead a whole knot of wrongness. It requires wrong things you have done, along with wrong things that have been done to you. It requires both both good and bad intentions, doubled and tripled back upon themselves until they are so distorted, you cant see clearly where they began. It requires you to see every inadequacy , every failing, every weakness you possess, magnified to horrific size. It requires bad luck. And then, when you reach this place, and look around, you see only blackness And only one possible route to travel : Downward, and inward, into more blackness.
- Black Mirror, Nancy Werlin

this, the prologue, was what intrigued me into reading the book. and i dont regret reading it. twice in fact. this is one book, better than all of harry potter put tgt, better than all my favourite books.
this is my new favourite book. :)

stunning revelations were made as i read onwards. and worthy life lessons.
a book, i can actually relate to.

gimme more.gimme more. gimme more books like this that actually makes sense.
i dont want romance novels or fairy tales no more.
